City of Hope Medical Group Seeks an Anesthesiologist to Join the Clinical Team
The Department of Anesthesiology at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking an experienced physician to meet the needs of our growing program on the Duarte campus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Join our nationally recognized team of medical, surgical, and radiation cancer specialists as we seek to add a full-time clinician to our Department of Anesthesiology.
- Department currently includes Physicians and CRNAs
- Effort allocation: 95% Clinical
- Cover only one location at Helford Hospital: 8 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms
Position Highlights:
- Relocation assistance available on a case-by case basis

- City of Hope adds up to 20% of salary to your retirement account (NOT a match-you don't contribute a penny) each year, up to the IRS max. For 2022 the IRS max is $61,000.00.
- Salary Range: $375K - $385K (Anesthesiologists working in Duarte are eligible for weekend call pay)
- "The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors."

This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 400+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in highly desirable Southern California, within our established Department of Anesthesiology. City of Hope is an expanding institution in both numbers of patients per year as well as infrastructure investment in clinical, academic and research facilities. Qualifications:
Academic record consistent with appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Clinical Professor level at City of Hope National Medical Center
- The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license
- American Board of Anesthesiology bard eligibility/certification
