Custer County Librarian

The Custer County Commission and Library Board of Trustees are seeking a Library Director skilled in working with people of all ages in a rural setting. We are looking for an individual with three years of experience providing library services, planning and coordinating library programming, administration and supervision. Must be able to manage a budget and coordinate activities of the Library Board of Trustees, Library Foundation, and volunteers. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position paying $47,000 to $55,000 annually and requires no less than a bachelor’s degree in library science, liberal arts, public administration, English, education, or related field. A Master’s degree in library science is preferred for this position.
