Job Responsibilities:
• Solve interesting problems that may require thinking outside-the-box to accomplish development goals
• Build innovative and highly stable applications using existing and emerging technology
• Create and enhance service-based APIs
• Implement system-to-system communication using various protocols
• Evaluate third-party technology and work with partners to integrate solutions
• Communicate proactively with teams of project managers, sales associates and customer support to design and define quality solutions
• Work with version control systems, deployment workflows, system architects, and QA teams to deliver robust and error free applications
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have the following:
• Highly motivated individual capable to perform under minimal supervision
• Minimum of 5 years' software development expertise
• Expertise in creating and modifying Web Services and APIs using RETS
• Expertise with PHP (any MVC framework experience is a plus)
• Expertise with MySQL database query, design and maintenance
• Experience deploying, managing and scaling applications in Heroku is a plus
• Test Driven Development experience is a plus
