The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Executive to join our team. The Account Executive will work closely on voter registration and vote-by-mail programs focused on expanding the electorate and turning out the New American Majority in key states. You'll also support in managing a variety of candidate campaigns up and down the ballot. This role is client-facing. The Account Executive will have the opportunity to work closely with leaders in the Democratic and progressive spaces. Ideal applicants are highly detail-oriented team players. Our workload ramps up significantly in the run up to Election Day. In the late summer, the pace accelerates significantly, and you should expect to work long days and weekends through Election Day.

The salary range for this opportunity is $45,000-$55,000 plus a generous election day bonus based on experience. It also includes a competitive benefits package including insurance (health, dental, life, disability), 401(k) with employer match, and paid vacation.

Our company is fully remote, but applicants for this role should expect to work East Coast hours. The position runs through the end of the 2024 election cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our largest clients to implement highly complex voter registration and vote-by-mail programs
  • Develop, edit, and maintain program creative and other key documents
  • Coordinate with printers and clients on timelines and mail production
  • Proofread key documents for accuracy
  • Write mail plans and draft budgets
  • Coordinate with our copy-writing and graphic design teams to develop and edit engaging creative
  • Provide strategic guidance to campaigns in meetings
  • Staff candidate photoshoots
  • Assist with internal administrative tasks as needed

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has 1-3 years of work experience. Campaign experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent concentration, fine detail processing, and memory for a fast-paced work environment
  • Has an eagle eye for detail, is highly organized, and loves to proofread
  • Is an adaptable team player
  • Is comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well with others and lacks ego
  • Is a strong communicator who understands client management
  • Has a sense of humor and positive attitude
  • Is proficient in Excel and Adobe
  • Cares about progressive causes, has an open mind, and is open to diverse perspectives
