This role requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient management, and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical setting.

We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time dental hygienists. Whether you’re looking for a full schedule or a more flexible, part-time opportunity, we welcome applicants who are eager to join our team

Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ oral health, including taking medical histories and reviewing medical records.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in the management of dental records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
• Operate dental equipment and tools efficiently while adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care.
• Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, documentation, and record management.

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health, as well as infection control practices.
• Familiarity with dental coding and documentation review processes is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual responsibilities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
