Job Description
Renner is seeking a motivated and driven team member to join our field survey crew.
The Survey Crew member is responsible for assisting survey staff with any survey needs, including boundary surveys, topographic mapping, and construction staking. This position offers opportunities to grow and manage survey projects and mentor new team members.
Work schedule would be Monday thru Friday with weekend availability when needed. Overnight travel is not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field survey for boundaries, topography, utilities using GPS and robotic equipment.
- Manage projects and assignments simultaneously and perform well under deadlines.
- Prepare plats, maps and record drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Ability to manage and train field technicians to advance their knowledge.
Qualifications
- Crew Chief or Field Technician - certified or ability to obtain within 6 months preferred.
- Knowledge of GPS, total station and robotic equipment
- Willingness to achieve professional registration is encouraged.
- Possess understanding of civil engineering and structural plan set.
- Valid Driver’s license
