Physical Requirements
- Requires lifting & moving equipment (5 – 20 lbs) for sport set up.
- Standing, sitting, jogging or running for extended amounts of time.
- Exposure to weather for outdoor sports.

Job Summary
- Must be a registered UK student
- Work effectively in a team environment ensuring safety, fairness and sportsmanship in sports activities for students/faculty/staff
- Sport Official position works hands-on to provide quality customer service through positive experiences
- Responsible for officiating/refereeing sports during intramural competition
- Duties include but not limited to:
- Controlling the game environment
- Enforcing sport rules
- Making instantaneous decisions
- Interacting with participants
- Setting up/tearing down sport
- Sport Official will referee two sports throughout the academic year: Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, Volleyball
- Experience is not required, sport-specific training and development provided
- Leadership skills learned are applicable to any career path
