Job Summary

The Kentucky Geological Survey at the University of Kentucky seeks a summer Geologic Technician to work in the Western Kentucky Office in Henderson, Kentucky. This position will work closely with a staff geologist to carry out a variety of tasks that include the collection and processing of groundwater elevation data, aquifer delineation, the collection and processing of drone-based thermal images, and other tasks as needed. Some overnight travel may be required.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Experience with ESRI ArcPro software is needed along with basic computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A valid driver's license with 5 years of experience is a plus.
